I have looked everywhere that I can think of for the downloadable PDF template for your acoustic but I can't find it. The E Book only seems to have details on the electric. Any clues?

I can’t see a side elevation or longitudinal section for the guitar. Am I just being blind?

There is no side elevation - you don't need it. What dimension are you looking for?
To clarify:
What is important is that the strings arrive at the right height for the bridge - this is covered in setting the neck angle.
also:
A side elevation can look very complicated and off-putting for the beginner - it is definitely non essential so that is why it is missing.
But:
I sometimes do a side elevation when I am making a Thru Neck electric guitar - just to make sure my neck laminates are deep enough.
