I managed to get my bench vice installed at the weekend. This thing is heavy, I'm so glad I build my bench well.

I just need to make some big wooden jaws for it now.

@boo Use a forstner bit to bury the heads in the bench. But yeh, that things a bit of a beast lol

My vice turned up today, it's quite big. 😂

It fits in place perfectly but it will be a bit of a challenge to install it. I'll probably have to drill some holes through the worktop for some big bolts to hold the vice to the bench.

It's fine, I'm not bothered at all, I don't mind, doesn't bother me in the slightest. 😳

@nsj Yes indeedy. I just fancied doing a natural wood guitar with a lovely grain, instead of painting. I may finish it with clear coat though for maximum pop. I liked the look of this black limba, ordered it a while back, it’s lovely.

Not starting it yet though, I’ve got too much other stuff to do.
