                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>They may appear a bit long in the tooth but if you can find one in good condition, and they do come up regularly, then Elu are quite possibly the best routers ever made. Prior to being bought out by Black and Decker the original Swiss made machines had huge and very high grade bearings and are probably only trumped on quality these days by Festool (£500+!!)</p>
<p>The little MOF96 (with an E for the speed control model) is a beautifully balanced little tool and I still have one originally bought 35 years ago. The DeWalt machines based on the larger Elu models (MOF177) are also pretty good but the first thing B&amp;D did was to cut the cost of those fantastic bearings by making them smaller! Idiots!</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>I just grabbed another Bosch cordless drill in Amazon’s prime deals.  They do the same unit every year (I’ve got 3 of them now!), this year it went from £85 to £55.</p>
<p>Worth checking if they’ve got any decent routers ahead of Black Friday week deals, and waiting.  Just don’t get conned by something reduced by £30 that had gone up £50 the week before ...</p>]]></content:encoded>
