Yesssssssssss!!! Finally! I win something ?
Measure once, cut straight away and maybe you're lucky......
Well its been a while since I last posted about the RH level problems in the Garage/Workshop conversion I have been doing. Partly because I have been on another course with Marrk on a new Set neck guitar (Pic will be attached) and partly because I went back to work on a 7 month contract to pay for all this ?
But I have finished insulating the floor with 25mm Kingspan then 18mm water resistent chipboard flooring. The single glazed windows now have a second internal pain to make them almost double glazed. I have purchaed a dessicant dehumidifier and an oil radiator. Gives me an RH of 56-59% good enough I think. What do you think Mark?
et voilà :----
I now have two MJC originals and a place to create more. ............ Brilliant ? ?

Hi Bill. Yes they released a new version from Jet and Axminster got them in and it was slightly cheaper than the older one or the Bayleigh alternative. So just had to go with one. Carriage was free to the IOM as well. ??

Does it work well without the infeed and outfeed tables?
It is the bit of kit is top of my wish list - will see how the build with bits of wood prepped by Baileys goes.......
What dust extraction have you got?

It works well without the feed tables but I am looking at making something up for peace of mind ?
I have an Axminster Craft AC82E as the main dust extractor with blast gates to seperate the bandsaw, belt sander and drum sander. A Record Power DX1000 for various hand power tools. Then a Record Power AC400 ceiling mounted airfilter.

Looking smart @mikeyrjiom! I would still recommend a small dehumdifier if the budget stretches...
Measure twice, cut once...
Hi Mark
Yep I got a dessicant one. Seems to be doing the job. You can set it to run for so many hours (2-23), set the humidity (40/50/60/70% etc). Its not too loud as I haven't tried it on full yet. but if you check out the pick I've highlighted the RH I am acheiving now. I will wait to see how long it lasts but it has been getting windy, cold and wet here.
