<p>Still a fair bit to do though. The back wasn’t joined and was 1mm too thick and I planed it by hand. Don’t think I would build a kit again it’s harder than starting from scratch as the parts are pre cut for assembly in a factory jig and have to be lined up perfectly for gluing with no room for error.</p>]]></content:encoded>

Got the back on as well now but I need to modify the mold a bit as it’s too wide in some places. The rubber bands catch on the edge and don’t put enough pressure on the guitar.

<p>Made it from an old bit of kitchen worktop. I prefer a mold where the ribs go on the outside which I’ve always used in the past. Easier to do the clamping.</p>]]></content:encoded>
