Not quite clear on how the fretboard is warping, i.e. in which direction and if it is only the fretboard or the whole fretboard/neck. Also not sure what you mean by “tightening the frets”.

Perhaps some photos would help make things clearer and allow us to better offer some advice. Also knowing what type of glue you used and the types of wood might be helpful too.👍😃🎸

Hey everyone, I am Emmanuel Katto. I'm currently building a guitar and I've just glued on a new fretboard. However, after tightening the frets and clamping the neck, I noticed that the fretboard is starting to warp slightly. It's not a major warp, but it's noticeable and I'm worried it might cause problems down the line.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? What's the best way to deal with it? Should I re-clamp the neck, use a different type of glue, or is there some other technique I'm missing? Please let me know.

Thanks!
