Hi there my name is John and I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I moved to Alabama in 2017 for work. In 2022 I joined the Alabama Woodworkers Guild as I found they have a luthier group. I have no musical ability but I have always wanted to build a guitar. The guys in the luthier group are great! The Guild has a well equipped workshop, available to members and we meet there every Monday evening from 4pm to 9pm to work on our various projects. They have been teaching me the basic skills and I managed to complete a ukulele! Recently I have started work on a parlor size acoustic guitar. I look forward to any help/advice you guys can give me!
