I'm posting this with a heavy heart..
As much as I love guitar, amplifiers, effect pedals and everything that comes with it ... it is taking up too much of my time. I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics of cleaning and cooking and maintaining my home, so something has to give. I will be getting rid of my collection.

My wife and I were over in New York recently and were out doing a bit of shopping when I spotted a guitar shop and asked if we could go in, to which my wife reluctantly agreed.
Browsing around, I suddenly spotted my all time favourite guitar, an Olympic White, 1962 Fender Strat, and excitedly called a shop assistant over. As he approached us, my wife bent down to take a closer look at it and farted. To hide her embarrassment, she quickly asked the assistant 'How much is it'?
He replied, 'Madam, if you farted by just looking at it, you'll shit yourself when I tell you the price'!

I've noticed recently that we've been starting to repeat ourselves with some of the jokes......we need to employ a joke writer for some new material.
I nominate @mattbeels 😂👍
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
@tv101 needs to calm the fuk down
oh, OK @mattbeels.
😥 😥
Actually, I was thinking I should probably spend more time in my workshop (where there is no internet) rather than in my office (where there is internet). Less distraction, more work ...

To be fair Matt @mattbeels, @tv101 has posted some good new stuff with the odd repeat. I noticed that even I have posted jokes twice. It's difficult to look back to check what's gone before. I suppose it doesn't really matter that much if we keep repeating ourselves. It makes me laugh all over again. 👍😁

Ah man, I didn’t mean to bum you out!
You didn't @mattbeels - fear thee not.
😉
But your comment was fairly apposite. I'd been thinking that I've been spending way too much time posting bollocks here, and way too little time doing something more constructive, and then posting something more interesting.
Like, "here's a new guitar I'm building" (or "here are the new curtains and cushions for my new workshop" 😆 ).
And I've just spent an hour out there, soldering bits of wire together! More on that tomorrow ...

Nice! I’m glad that worked out...
here are the new curtains and cushions for my new workshop
😂😂😂
Don’t worry, I’ll be posting some pictures of my cozy cushions and classy curtains soon!

@mattbeels I think you need some big beanbag chairs for your shop.

I actually have a big beanbag from my last shop. It was for when a kid (or two!) stayed home sick and got to hang in the shop.
I bought a used sofa the other day but I didn’t really take my time checking it out and now I don’t want it as it sucks! 😂
But I’ll just chuck it back on the classifieds and try again...
