                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the most fun things when I want to make a guitar or bass is thinking of the woods I want to use.  A couple of years ago when I was at my wood supplier's place (Masave woods in Zwolle, Netherlands) I saw he had a pile of flat sawn fretboards. They looked to amazingly good I bought 5 or 6 of them. I know Mark always says the best fretboards are quarter sawn but flat sawn wenge look much more spectacular than quarter sawn wenge.</p>
