@darrenking Thank you, I always try to use nice looking wood. A flamed maple top is not something very special, but you hardly ever see them on the 'standard' models like Jazz basses or Stingrays.

the other twist is no pickguard. Worked out well (if I may say so myself).

Of course Leo Fender is rightly praised for his iconical Precision and Jazz basses. But in my humble opinion the best bass he ever designed was the Music Man Stingray. So I wanted to make one myself. But again with a little twist.

Alder body, laminated neck (maple and mahogany), wenge fretboard and a flamed maple top. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan SMB-4DS and the bass is fitted with an active 3-band eq.

Apart from the laminated neck the other twist is no pickguard. Worked out well (if I may say so myself).
