I'd go for glue in, I think.

I'm often finding with guitar building (but can be asked to life in general) is that I often don't know what I don't know.

So when looking at a joint like that, with one side having much more contact with the neck, I'm wondering if there anything I'm not seeing that would throw up problems.

For example, if I'm gluing in a neck with a break angle, do I need to somehow copy that angle into the body top so it doesn't look weird. 

Perhaps I need to do a few mock up with scrap...

I went to tight on a tele build and actually split the body in half when getting carried away clamping. There was a bit less wood due to it having a floyd but still, crazy.

It's on my youtube under smelly tele lol

I've only made double cutaways up to now, but fancy a pop at a single cut. In your experience is there anything I need to consider for a successful neck joint?
