Thanks it's always good to get an opinion from someone who has been there. I'm planning a bike trip along that way in the next few days before the winter sets in.

To be fair, Mark is quite a long way from most places.

For me it's only 445 miles. Luckily I live close to Amsterdam airport, so it's the bus to the airport, flight to Glasgow, bus to Paisley Gilmour street and the train to Ayr. It usually takes me about 4½ to 5 hours.

Parking the bike will be fine but carrying home your new creation may be a struggle!

I'm hoping to do a course sometime if they ever start again. Only about two hours for me and as long as the parking is motorbike friendly. 

It really is an excellent experience @rocknroller912 - I recommend it without reservation to anyone who's got the slightest interest in guitar building.

Or just having fun in a workshop for a week!

No worries re parking your bike either.
