@koendb Yeah that is some nice work man, both the Uke and the workshop, I’m envious right now. I’m getting frustrated with not being able to build right now but I’m getting closer, I move into my new house on 12th August 2022. 🎉🎊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@koendb That looks fantastic. I couple years ago I moved my woodshop inside (mostly because of the cold in the winter) however I've recently been thinking about setting my barn back up to be a woodshop. It will take a little bit of work to make it usable but it is already insulated. It will need a heat source though. That may be next on my list after my acoustic build is done. :)

So I finished my electric ukelele.
Freehand fret slot cutting. That was the first time for me, I always have used a jig , but now I could not rely on a jig, because I lend mine out to a friend and I did not have a 15" scale template anyway :-)

I am getting pretty good at applying a shellac finish. This looks pretty good to me.

I still need to pay more attention to details, especially during sanding in the corners and bends.
That, I feel is still a weak spot for me.

I've also been busy setting up my workshop.

I am getting close to completing on my house sale and the purchase of my new home in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Just waiting for the legals to do their job. Then comes the task of actually moving in. It’s all a pain but I’ll have such a big workshop, I’m happy with what we have bought.
