@seanwhcraig Hi Sean, I have an 8’ x 4’ CNC router with a 360 m3 per hour vacuum pump hooked up to the hold down table. However, when machining such relatively small components as guitar necks or head stocks I… Read more»

@seanwhcraig I would use white wood glue – it allows some time for manipulation and can be easily cleaned off if it goes wrong.

@seanwhcraig. I would say that you should still be fine. 1.5mm is thin but you didn’t go through it so I think it is ok. On the course Mark says he thins the cutaways down to .080″ so that is… Read more»

Posted by: @seanwhcraig Does anyone have any thought on should I do anything to the sides to strengthen them up? @seanwhcraig Hi Sean, I’m going to assume you are talking about an acoustic guitar you are building. Unfortunately I don’t… Read more»

Hi @seanwhcraig, I am pretty certain that it is Tessa 4287 and you ideally want it in 19mm or 25mm (3/4″ or 1″). You’ll need one of those tape dispenser things as well and the rolls fit the StewMac three… Read more»
