Danish oil is my favourite finish although the climate here can be too cold and damp most of the year. Definitely a job for outside working due to the aroma.</p>

Probably acrylic  &#8211; you can use clear and paint the underside any colour you like prior to gluing and it comes out fine.

I would probably recommend the latter. It’s obviously a bit more work to set it up but the results are more accurate. </p>

I typically like a slab body for the LPJ style guitars but a carve on yours seems appropriate. It’ll look very classy with that center strip, plus a carve is more comfortable to play imo. <br />
