I used an off cut from the soundboard to make the centre strip for the back

Then I cut out the shape of the back

Then I plane on the radius of 20 foot using the shooting board.

Planing down the back braces flat and square. They are all 7mm thick and will eventually be 14mm high but I’m leaving them 20mm high for now.

…..then planing and scraping down to 2.8mm thickness.

Joining the back. I’m using cherry for this one.
