@somethingnicer no I mean the chuck in the extension, it’s not as stable as the chuck in the actual tool. Like it has a bit of play compared to the chuck in the actual tool which is fairly rigid.
 

@nsj well that’s kind of my point I think. The extension isn’t stable in the base because the nose threads don’t fit.

@SomethingNicer is the extension as stable as the actual dremmel? Like in my other brand tool the extension where you insert the bits has a tiny bit of play whereas the actual chuck of the tool is solid.

I can’t say that I’ve ever come across an adapter @somethingnicer but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. I’ve always found that having the Dremel itself attached gives a nice balance but I can understand that there might be…   Read more»
