@norriemac It might have been badly dried causing cracks. Was the olive wood hard to glue.

@rocknroller912 Thanks Mate, yeah I think that now too. I now know to never use olive wood again. Hidden cracks and defects that have taken hours to tidy up.haha

@tv101 probably the first three albums I'd recommend are 'discipline' 'court of the crimson king' and 'red' this one is from discipline.

@norriemac I'm fairly sure that at 12mm it's still strong enough, but better wait for the experts to advise you on that. Adding your 3mm olive wood will certainly give you the thickness you need and ...
