From the description of the process in the video it seems what we'd need is someone with a CNC machine and the equipment to laminate films together. Remind you of anyone we know?

@jamesalexandermcmillan I've finished solid wood with a drying oil only and no lacquer or varnish. It's very forgiving as it doesn't crack or chip if knocked and any minor dents can just be rubbed dow...
