I find it amusing that somebody who apparently has no issues with the black art of finishing with different substrates, effects and finishes is so terrified of some soldering!

@mattbeels Sorry just having a rant. I played acoustic fiddle with microphone in a band with an electric guitar player and he always had to be the loudest. Pulled the volume stunt every time.

@rocknroller912 Well I like to use my volume. It’s mostly on full but I like to use it for dynamics like swells or to just clean up the sound. It would be weird to lose that control.

@mattbeels I always wonder why electric players even bother with volume controls they always go full blast - after the sound check and setting the levels of course. Controls just add circuit noise any...

@rocknroller912 Personally I can’t stand linear pots and I also can’t understand why they’re used in guitar circuits especially for the volume, d’oh!
