Turns out our shop had some faulty colletes! I’m pretty sure these gouges will expose themselves so I’m going to try a little resin and make it a feature! More to come

@rathius you have to dribble it into the slot before banging the fret in, you can use wood glue like titebond original too, cleans up with a damp cloth. The glue doesn’t so much hold the fret in as fill…   Read more»
