Did some of the cutting out of the inner horns and planed the fretboard sides to make room for binding, so far so good.

Little bit more work today, did the slot for the pickup wiring so when I rout out the pickup cavities the channel will appear. I cut a lot of excess off the neck to make it easier to deal with….   Read more»

Yeah, and a tear-out when routing the neck pickup cavity. But it will be hidden when the pickup is mounted, so I didn’t try to patch it up.

Well, I’m in no hurry when building and is not very good at documenting the build process. But now the finish line is a bit closer. Applied several coats of Danish Oil and waiting a few days more for it…   Read more»
