Almost there! Cleaning up the shell, oiling the fingerboard and neck,…
cleaning up the little ridge at the headstock
And marking the nut height.

I made these little pins that will be placed at both sides of the fingerboard, around where the body meets the neck.
And cut out a section from the top where these pins will be placed.

The soundboard gets glued to the shell! I first start by making tiny blocks, that will help supporting the top , so the top would not fold and crack when applying masking tape with some decisive force.

I then shape the back of the bridge, I fold it inwards with a sharp chisel, so there is only a little ‘roof’just above the string holes. This will help keeping the strings in place when we tie a knot… Read more»
