I was 99% persuaded to have a go at a self-build acoustic.
Then I added up the cost of the parts (for the first attempt, the second go that gets a bit better, the third that's almost playable, and finally the fourth that actually holds tune) and the extra bits & pieces of tools that I'd need.
Then I remembered all the fun of the workshop courses (ah, those were the days), and it probably makes more sense to do a workshop-course-build acoustic instead. And as it's over 2 weeks (at least), there's 2 Twa Dugs visits as well.
Wifely assent has been granted, so I think my build will take place in the fine Bailey workshop one day after viruses have been vanquished.
But I'm going to watch this series of livestreams so I can at least pretend that I've half a clue what I'm doing ...
