The last 2 weeks I've been flooded with work in the restaurant. Kind of glad there is nothing new I missed. Lately I just discard all the notifications from the forum thinking I will get to them when I have time. Well today is Sunday and I cannot stay awake...

Yup - the weather would be an issue up in Scotland - we have dogs and they have to be walked - they don't mind gales, downpours, snow etc but we do...
Also it is a long way from anywhere - that may be a bonus some of the time but....

@tv1010101 Yeah, of course! The more the merrier I say. Like @robin has mentioned, there is plenty of room and the people are lovely and so welcoming. I fell in love with Scotland decades ago and luckily my wife agrees so when we get our chance, we are there. I don’t mind about the weather, so long as we have a cosy home with a workshop for me to build guitars, I will live out my days a happy man. We could all descend on and settle in Maybole so we can be closer to our mentor @markbailey, I’m sure he would be really happy to see us all on a daily basis! 😂

I think we want to settle, not too far from where your caravan is Robin. My sister lives and works in Tarbert so I want to be quite near to her. I doubt we will find a house actually in Tarbert our budget but within a 30 mile radius, we just might.
