1st I want to say that I am happy to discover this community. Guitar making is something new for me. I've always been doing stuff around instruments but with this lock down it was the single thing to keep me sane. I started with 3 kits 2 of which already found new owners I can put pictures if you guys are interested.
So my contribution here : a guitar workbench /clamping system.not my idea - the guy who gave this to me is Nino Marsolo from Zürich if someone is interested I can give the detailed plans for this bench. I love this bench because if I am working on a valuable instrument this contraption keeps it fixed... Nothing gets in contact with the the instrument (like tools laying around the table).
Oh yeah and the cigarbox guitar on it is the 4th build I did so far.

@david-johnson09 I am using on the 3 of them nitrocellulose clear coat gloss for the body and nitrocellulose clear mat for the neck (I hate the sticky feel of gloss on the neck)
The p90s one is the first I did. I used only blue stain there. The p94s (the darker 335) was the 3rd. There I did blue, a bit of green and a touch of purple

I like the look of that!!
I'm surprised at the number of people who tackle a build like that early in their building career - I always assumed that would be one of the more complicated builds.
I reckon @markbailey should do a specific 335 (workshop) course. What do you think @david-johnson09?

@tv1010101 this is a stewmac kit... Pretty basic thing. Making one from scratch is a mess I don't want to get in yet I prefer strats but I did the 335s and the lp because I never owned such guitars and I wanted to see the construction and the details in them... A cheaper way to get close to one of these hehe

I look forward to the detailed plans for that guitar bench @petersoyanov
Does the ironing board come as standard? Can you have different covers if you like ?
I have too many guitars...said no one in the world..ever!
Up for the 335 course @TV1010101 when the Bailey team are ready....
There you go @markbailey - half the workshop places sold already!!

Welcome Peter, I’m loving your work sir.
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
@johnnierox-boo
Thanks. It is far away from perfect. I learn from the YouTube videos and now Marc's videos and materials online I wish one day I have time to participate in couple of days workshop with someone pro

@petersoyanov Nice bench, intense! I miss my 335. I regret selling it. It is by far my most favorite guitar. The first design of a center block. Birth of the semi hollow.
@david-johnson09 - the board is a must ! 😀 that's the law!
joke aside I like the easy hight adjustment of the board... 🙂
@johnnierox-boo thanks 🙂 I started this March with the builds. repairs and small stuff I've done before but this year I decided to go deep
