Not sure who is closest to me. Iām in Letchworth, Herts. More than happy to share my tea, coffee and facilities, big belt sander, vertical panel saw, veneer saw, vacuum presses etc with any members who may be passing or planning a road trip.
You're only about 1.5hrs away @darrenking ... you may just get a visit once we get back to some sort of normality ... and travel is allowed and meeting other human beings is safe once again!

@marcel it sounds like you live in a similar place to me, just outside of a seedy city/town. The surrounding villages are always much nicer places to be.Ā

It's not for me either, I've never felt the need to go to Blackpool. In my younger days, it was as annual pilgrimage for a lot of my contemporaries, throwing up on bus trip never really appealed to me.

@robin Iām with you Robin, I was never drawn to Blackpool. Iāve been a couple of times to the āPleasure Beachā (thatās where all the rollercoasters are, before anyone thinks itās something else 🤣) when taking girls out when I was a teenager. I also attended a few seasons of Blackpool Football Club, when they were in the Premiership and Championship but I wouldnāt go out at night in Blackpool, very dodgy!Ā
