In 2004 I went to the Bailey workshop to build a guitar for the first time. A year later I returned to build a bass and in 2006 I realised I was addicted. So in 2006 again I travelled to Scotland to make my second bass.

It's a 4 string, swamp ash body, maple neck (scarf neck) with a rosewood fingerboard.

EMG 35CS pickups with EMG BTC eq.

ABM BB0320 bridge

Gotoh GB70e tuners

Bas #2 2

Thank you, it could not have been done without the best guitar building tutor in the world Mark Bailey.

@marcel I do agree with you about @markbailey but you are not giving yourself enough credit. I’m sure you could do it on your own now that you have been to the workshop a few times. All of us can, if we keep building and learning, we can all become proficient guitar builders. Rock n Roll

Well John, after my 5th course I decided to try it at home and over the years I've made several guitars and basses. And some of them worked out really well.
