Prompted by @clinton's finniting post/discussion, I'm tempted to finnit this one.
There's nothing *wrong* with it. It's just that I don't love it.
The neck is fine, feels good, plays nicely. The hardware is all OK and the pickups sound good.
I don't like the top. Sorry top! Beauty is in the eye, etc. It's a flat cap (no carving, just an edge round-over), and the colour never quite turned out how I wanted.
So, I'm considering removing the cap and putting a different one on. I'd take a bit more off the body too, so I could add a thicker cap with a bit of carving. That should allow me to get a bridge back on it at the right height for the neck angle (don't much fancy trying to remove the neck, so the rebuild would take place with the neck where it is!).
Or am I just being daft ...

You're being Daft. It is what it is.
I've already re-capped it once. The first time, I'd tried recessing a different bridge into the body, but it hadn't worked very well, so it removed the cap and put this one on it.
There's nothing *wrong* with it - just that it's not the first (or second, or third, or etc) guitar that I reach for to play!
Wow really? I think it looks great!
Thanks @clinton
Perhaps I'll tuck it away in a dusty corner for a while and look at it again in a month or three.

@tv1010101 I think it’s a fantastic looking build and I bet it sounds great too.
Occasionally I revisit old builds and make unnecessary “improvements” to them.
You have prompted me to mention something about one of my builds too but I’ll make another thread for it.
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
If you don't like it, just make a new one.
Well, I could, but I'd salvage the pickups, and bridge, and tuners and neck ...
(I don't have as many friends as you, so no-one really to give it away too!)
... which would be pretty much the same as taking the current cap off it, and putting a new one on!
But I've put it in a gig bag, and hidden it away now, so I'll forget it about for a while
