Now for the first coat of Tru Oil. It’s starting to come alive. 

It gets better, I promise. More sanding and dying before oil. Pre oil. 

I’ve been playing around with dyes and sanded back in between coats. I’ve blended the colours, black, orange and yellow and I’m now happy with it. The first coat of dye always looks really bad to me, quite tacky looking….   Read more»
