@darrenking Excellent answer ! I would like to also add another warning... Don't be tempted to run the blade over the top of the fretboard - it might seem like a good solution but it has the potential...

You'll likely end up making your own tablesaw if you stick with that blade - not impossible... I'd suggest maybe looking for another blade to fit a standard table saw - at least that is how I made min...

After 5 coats of finishing oil I decided that was enough - it has a nice sheen and feels smooth. Good call...I think 5-6 coats is maximum or it starts to build up and get sticky...

@frocesterbill It is possible the router cutter is sub-optimum...where did it come from?
