@rocknroller912 Thanks Mate, yeah I think that now too. I now know to never use olive wood again. Hidden cracks and defects that have taken hours to tidy up.haha

@rocknroller912 Yes, but the taper template was only off by a little under a mm. As long as the fretboard is properly centered, the slot should be fine and the edge can be blended out.

Label says it is a Pietro Tonelli and is made in Napoli presumably around 1900
