@rocknroller912 Thanks for that. Would I be right in thinking it’s a fairly expensive way to finish a guitar though? Would you do it?

The problem is that Mark has magic pencils – he draws a line and it looks brilliant, the curves work and his lines are smooth, mine all wobble around………

@rocknroller912 – Great idea – CHEERS!! FYI: I think I know where you went wrong…the stuff I use takes 3-4 coats to get a full shield…I always check for a ‘beep’ with the multi meter
