What state is the timber currently in? Has it just been felled, or its already in plank form, or? You can get a moisture meter to check whether it’s dried out enough, or, if it’s already been planked...

My extension cable is on a large reel and has a trip switch built into it. I would advise everyone to use one of these, especially when using power outside or when the cable is outside. Safety first.
