Probably acrylic  – you can use clear and paint the underside any colour you like prior to gluing and it comes out fine.

PS – Don’t tell Mark, but I’ve never had super glue & masking tape slip on me. I put too much superglue on once. It flooded out over the masking tape, and successfully bonded the two pieces together very well….   Read more»
