@tej There's always a way.

@tej Try a junior hacksaw blade to clean out the fret slots, it worked for me. A normal hacksaw blade might fit if you sand the sides off the teeth.

So what’s your plan for this repair @tej? Glue on one veneer then drill out the four tuner holes and then repeat?

After I’ve applied the veneers and got the edges level with the headstock is there any reason not to surface route the laminate? Ones I ordered are 2mm think and really only wanted 1mm.

@tej It's neat isn't it? That guy builds a lot of very cool things, including most of his workshop, and always to a really high level of precision.

@jonhodgson that looks fun, I think if I used a lot of dowel pins it’d be worth knocking together. Certainly quicker thank my little lathe!
