RE: I did it......loose neck pocket!

@peebee Spot on with your last comment I think that's the way round for the future. I have a PRS custom 22 fret template that I have had to shim the neck sides with .35mm cuts. I cut a slice from the ...

RE: I did it......loose neck pocket!

If making something thats going to fit into a hole, cut it with the line still visible (ie marginally over-size, potentially). If making something that’s going to be fitted into, cut it with the line ...

RE: I did it......loose neck pocket!

RE: Build number 5 finished

I need to make some better neck & neck pocket templates and there's still room for improvement on the finish but overall I'm really pleased how this turned out (think I just about covered up the r...

RE: 🎶🎸 Your Favourite Song In This Moment 🎸🎶

My favourite song today, again from a Dutch band. Sadly singer/songwriter Hans Vermeulen passed away three years ago at the age of 70.

But don't worry when they all get kidnapped in episode 1, and taken to the cell. Kidnappers failed in kidnapping 101 and didn't search the dog properly, so they all escaped using the sonic screwdrive...

RE: 60's Telecaster build - Which pickups?

@keondb If you need to make a curved slot try making a curved scraper to match a curved bottom nut then scrape it front to back.

RE: 60's Telecaster build - Which pickups?

Do you check the nut to see if it’s flat, a lot of new ones are not. After your comment , I did check and the nut is flat ( Graphtec nubone nut )

RE: 60's Telecaster build - Which pickups?

Use that carefully and the bottom of the nut slot should be flat ordered the 1/8" one straight away! thanks @tv101
