RE: Shaping the body template

@pdxguitar - all the best tools are in the Bailey shop. If you can’t find the “time” shelf, drop him an email and ask where he’s hidden it. 😏

RE: How to Fit ANY Trem! Live @1pm today

I managed about 15mins of today’s session before I got called into another 90min VC session. 😢 And I’ve just - it’s 1930! - finished my day’s work. 😢😢😢 At least I’m...

RE: Front bow on my classic guitar.

It’s hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like the neck bends where it joins the body, rather than bowing over the length of the neck?

Answer to: Shaping the body template

I think the main tool is “time”. As long as you’ve got the right line drawn on the template blank, any number of tools can be used to cut the blank to the line. The trick is *never* to cut past the li...

RE: What would you like to see next?

Case making?? I'd be amazed if we could do a better job than Hiscox, or for anywhere near the cost! Or, if you're looking slightly lower down the cost scale, there are loads at £50-£60 to fit most gu...

RE: 1pm LIVE: Headstock veneers - bring yer best Q's - cheers folks!

You're welcome @robin. I've got a stack of stuff that "will come in useful one day". At least that day will now be happening for one of those veneers!

RE: 🎸📏 The Great British Guitar Build 📐🎸

I’ve not watched any of those other things ... but I’d watch the Mark & Carol show ... they are a great double act. (Although Carol would probably get sacked in the morning).

RE: How to Make Your Own Veneers - LIVE@1PM

I seem to be doing it more than anyone else, I bet you're really not @robin - I don't think I've had a single build on which I've not encountered a "learning opportunity"!!

RE: 🎶🎸 Your Favourite Song In This Moment 🎸🎶

@Russ - I used to listen to John Peel most evenings back in the '70s, 10pm to midnight on a poxy old MW radio (under a pillow) with all the crackles and interference, etc. I remember the first time I ...

That looks like a pretty impressive save @eddie6string - and a nice piece of veneer too. 👍 I've got a Safe-T-Planer too, but I've never really got the hang of using it, so it's sat (still in...
