Course Price £990 PLUS the cost of Electric “Kit” 

The booking fee reserves a place on the course. You will also receive a T shirt or a Hat , and the choice of an Apron, fleece, or Hoodie. Select course month from drop down box to see dates available (ask if you do not see suitable dates for you)

This Booking fee is non returnable should you change your mind and decide not to come(but you keep the merchandise etc). We will ask for a deposit of at least 25% to turn the reservation into a firm booking – at least a month before the course starts or when it is fully booked, and the full balance (plus any upgrades) is payable before the end of the course. Payments can be made in regular installments or lumps, by a variety of methods – please ask for more info

Deposits/are only kept if course places are cancelled within a month of the start date and the place cannot be filled – we are happy to transfer the booking to other dates if unforseen circumstances occur

About This Course

A five day course aimed at people who want to build a simple guitar from scratch, particularly those who want to have a go at home –  this will be a set neck, flat top electric (our Bandsman model.. which is (in Mark’s opinion) the easiest guitar to build especially for a beginner. This is the recommended first build on our online design and build course at GuitarMaking.co.uk  There will be some options for customisation e.g. choice of woods, finish, pick -ups etc, but the key to its simplicity is the minimal changes to spec. This course can also be spread over any period of time if 6 consecutive days isn’t an option for you – contact us for more info

For first time builders who feel unsure about taking on a bigger project, and people who may want to have a go replicating the techniques at home.

COST: £990 PLUS our electric “kit” which includes all materials and parts to make a standard Bandsman (extra charges for any upgrades etc) and all daytime refreshments (including hot lunch but not evening meal), BUT, you will need to add 6 nights accommodation
