Ok, silly question. Is there a difference between a profile cutter and a trimmer? I’m looking on Trend’s website and they use they words on different router bits.

You’re likely to use that trimming the first few cuts on a body blank to a templated shape or a cavity from a template.

Trend do a 12.7 x 12.7 @nortski or you can get one from Stewmac…… but they refer to it as 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch.

@robin ah that could do it. I’m not actually sure where this bit is needed, I’m just going by the essential tools list pdf. However; this should be close enough I guess. Thanks.

@robin he got the idea from Charvel. Doing the angled area was fine, making the plate fit was fine, making actual socket fit with a lead plugged in was less fine! Lol
