@nsj cheers, yes I’ve got one of those. Just a bit more fiddly with binding than without!

Well it’s taken a while but the finish is done at least. I’ll get it all assembled in the next day or two. Thanks to this forum I found an old post about using osmo poly x which helped great!
 

Frets are in and side dots done, next up will be sorting the headstock and carving the neck.
