@swepri If you have a bobbin sander, clamp a straight piece of wood to it so you can rest the neck against it. This will be to remove that lump of woods (neck and fretboard) and crest that curved transition…. Read more»

@boo Great! I just wondered how to create the access hole. I think I can manage the process. Not too different from building a set neck, after all.

Yes buddy, the retainer bar for the strings to be exact. I have to remove the retainer bar to remove the cover to get access to the trussrod. Lesson learned so now it’s spoke wheel for floyds lol.

@swerpi I then attach the routing template to the neck blank, cut off the excess on the bandsaw and route the remaining waste off.
