Just want to say hey and ask a question. What size of band saw blade should I use!?! I have a 14” porter cable saw. Would like to mention I work from the kitchen! lol

The bandsaw you have there looks great! That will do nicely...

I use a 6 skip 3/8" blade for almost everything.

Measure twice, cut once...

Howdy! Welcome and I agree with everyone else about the size of bandsaw blade, I think most of us do.
Nice soldering station by the way, think I’ll make something similar. I need all the help I can get with soldering, it’s my weak spot.

Practice @Boo, just practice!

This took a bit of soldering, but it all works

@boo Heat the item, add the solder lol. And use leaded, that lead free stuff is naff, I can do everything with a simple 30 watt iron using leaded stuff.

@nsj See, I know that little about electronics and soldering, I didn’t know there was leaded and unleaded solder. Is the leaded stuff not dangerous to health? Is that not why they created unleaded?

Thanks for the advice by the way. 👍 People always try to help me with soldering and I still end up nearly throwing everything out of the window in anger. 😆

@boo it would take an awful lot of soldering to get any harm from the lead, not nearly big enough amounts. It's like a lot of things, 2k spray etc, the danger can come from using it all day everyday.

Just make sure you're wearing your hi-viz jacket whilst soldering, and you'll be fine with the leaded stuff.
