hello, just wanted to share that I made the router base that mark mentions on the electric guitar building course, it took a few attempts to get it right (hence the holes) but should be handy, my next plan is to make a few jigs, cauls and patterns that will be useful before attempting my first scratch build.
I too made one after watching one of Mark's videos.
The extended base makes the router so much more stable. I'm a lot happier using it in areas where previously it might have tipped over and gouged a piece of something that I didn't want it to gouge.
One of the easiest - and best - little helpers that you can have!

My acrylic base is attached to one of my Bosch POF500 routers - they come up on eBay second hand - my pair were £30-35 each - parts available do should last. Made the base to do the surfacing jobs outline by Mark in the online courses but also get used to prevent falling into holes……
Measure once........ Measure again......... Sod it - make tea!
