Sending GCode data to a CNC controller is a bit like asking Marvin to open and shut doors!

He’d probably find that depressing!

It was a bit of a pita, because my main machine and the CNC laptop aren’t even networked.  So it was a job for USB sticks to do file transfer.  I might not run full fat Aspire on the old laptop, but I’ll probably put something useful-for-CAD on it, for simpler jobs.
