It may well be heresy to post this here, but the PRS SE range is - IMHO - probably the best VFM standard guitar range available.  Design, quality of materials, finishing, components, set-ups.    I've never had a bad one.

All at a price point that is generally reachable.

It was actually a PRS SE that got me back into playing.  My good lady wife bought me one for my 40th.  It was my 4th guitar at the time and re-ignited an interest that had faded away over the years since I'd left Uni and "grown up".
