I mean, we don't want just *anybody* joining (just look at who's likely to be after mattbeels!!!)
I'm finding it hard to keep up with you 10K'ers, it takes forever catching up on these unread posts. I'm getting a bit criticism from the missus for "always being on that phone". Your elite club is safe from me for a while. Once I've got my shed sorted out and can start working on guitars again, I'll get posting again. On the other hand, I've got to keep logging in to see what's going on, I don't want to miss anything,Β Β Β Β Β but I should be out there working on my shed.

@robin I recon you could fit another shed next to that one, it could be your βfinishing shopβ. You could have a red light outside so your wife would know when you are in there and know not to disturb you as an interruption would ruin the paint if she opened the door. 😉 (a bit like the old photography dark rooms)

I rekon I could fit another two sheds there, but I'll just take one step at a time for now. Things are improving though, I've got electrickery now.

@robin Yeah, itβs looking good, itβs all modern now itβs got lecky. 😁👍
Another two sheds you say? Interesting. 😁

I'm interested in getting power to my shed. Did you use armoured cable?Β
You probably have to @Russ - if you're doing it to current standards and the run is over any sort of distance.Β I've also got a separate switch box in my workshop (with its own trip switches).

I haven't put a permanent supply in yet, it's just a cable plugged into an outdooor socket on the house. The outdoor socket is protected by an RCD. Once I put a permanent cable in, I'll use armored cable. You can't be too carefull, one of my neighbours was getting a new fence put in last week and the contractor burst a gas pipe when he was digging the post holes.
Hey @mattbeels. You're nearly in the 10,000 club. I guess I should be the next one to welcome you. 🍻🎉🤘Β

I think your shed is definitely more important @robin and so is building those guitars! Iβm glad you got that electricity worked out. 👍
Iβll have to do something similar in my place. Unfortunately there arenβt very many sockets in there so Iβm gonna have to figure something out... 😬
Practice on scrap...

Good idea, but then sheβd just bust in there and catch him on the phone! 😂
