..and what are you doing over there @russ? We know you bought a router and built some jigs, you better get on the stick buddy! 😂🎸🍻
@mattbeels Space and Money are the couple of hurdles I need to get over Matt then I'm ready to go. 😁👍

Yeah I hear you, money is a never ending bitch. Are you going to convert your shed? Seems like a great idea, I hope it works out for you soon.
Let us know what we can do to help you along! 💪⚒️🎸
Cheers @mattbells. I will probably convert my shed....once I clear it but I've also got a friend who lives just a few miles down the road who has offered to let me use a workspace that they have....... I'm almost there.

My shed is 8'x6', I'm making an L shaped bench. The bench across the back is 700mm deep, which is about as far as I can comfortably reach. The bench along the side is 490mm, that takes it to the inside face of the door frame.
Given the space that you managed to work in previously - that's going to seem mahoosive when you get started in there!!

Not only bench space, I'll have enough clear floor space to take a step back and admire my work without tripping over something.
My workbench is finished now and shelves under it for some storage boxes with lids to keep the sawdust out. I've started making a stand for the bandsaw now and discoverd that planed shavings fill the bin so much quicker than sawdust does.
@robin Excellent work Robin, looking good. 👍🏴

How are you planning on moving the shed-shop when you move over to the caravan for summer?
It's well nailed to the ground, it's going nowhere. The front, back and roof of the old 6'x4' hut will be moving to the caravan though. They'll be getting resized to fill the 3' gap between my two huts that are there and that'll let me clear some working space. And then I'll be back here for the next lockdown.

That sounds like a good plan!
👍

Don't start talking about that ....

Next installment of the shed. The bandsaw stand is finished now. Normally it'll live in the opposite corner beside the door, it'll be fine there for doing the occasional small cut. I've made so that the table is the same height as the workbench so that I can move it into the corner and have an extended table for cutting things like bodies and necks (guitar parts, I'm not a serial killer)

*that* is forward planning! Nice thinking @robin.
