I'm a bit techno phobic. How do I tag people? 

@russ To tag someone just put the “at” symbol (@) before their handle (name) 

Eg. @deej 

Mine is @boo 

Yours is @russ 

TV’s is @tv101 

We all have the @ symbol before our chosen name (handle). 

So if you want to “tag” someone, use their handle including the @ symbol. 

Does that make sense?

What I do is subscribe to a conversation/thread and then when someone comments and/or tags you in that conversation, you get an email telling you that you have been mentioned. To subscribe to a conversation/thread, there is a little “checkbox” near the bottom of the thread that you tick. 

Does that make sense?

Don‘t worry,  I‘m not super proficient with tech either 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦‍♂️. PC‘s came out when I was in middle school but I couldn’t be bothered, I‘m more of a bass, middle, treble kind of guy 😬😆

Cheers@mattbeels. A bit of a techno phobe and a bit of an undiagnosed dyslexic. I've somehow managed to blag my way through life so far though. Finding Marks online video course has been a godsend..... I'm very much a visual learner and the detail in his videos has made this much easier for me........or it will do when I get started with the build.

@mattbeels I was in high school when BBC Model B’s were just being introduced in the school, way before PCs. Now I feel old. 🤣 

@russ I could never be bothered in school with computers but recently I decided I must bring myself into the 21st Century. I went and did a crash course in computing at college. That led to me doing an HND in computing and that led me to an Honours Degree in IT (Lancaster University). As you can imaging, I now hate computing but know a thing or two. And, whilst doing my HND I discovered that I actually am dyslexic, they sent me for tests. I doesn’t matter though, I just manage things differently and enjoy life. The only thing I was any good at in school was art. I only left school with three GCSEs. Maths and English at C grade (only just), and A in Art. It’s good enough for Rock n Roll. 🤘😜🤘
