I’m blown away Clinton, I really am. Everything about it is truly stunning. I would love to make one of those for a friend of mine, I may ask you for some advice if that is ok.
Did you change the size of the body as it is a bass? I know it’s a Bandsman body.
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
@tv1 Thanks. Must admit, this bass build is pretty solid, sounds amazng. Changing the neck pickup however to a Wilkinson humbucker, waiting for the part to arrive. The poles for this epiphone humbucker do not line up with the strings. Makes a difference especially with bass. I thought it would not. Lessons learned. Gotta route a new cavity and make a pickup cover for it to hide the old screw holes. Major modification but can be done.
Your work has made 2 people incredibly happy, and given them something that they'll treasure for years, forever ...
Being able to make a stunning guitar is a great ability.
Being able to bring that sort of happiness to people is an even greater ability.
